attentive host convenient location good dinner
I appreciated the attentive host. He was very helpful (I'm thankful for his help). The location suited my needs for walking in the area. The fish and chips dinner was also good.

Quiet stay close to countryside

attentive staff comfortable surroundings delicious breakfast
i found the staff very attentive. the surroundings were comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. i appreciated the spacious car park across the street, easy to carry bags. the bedroom was perfectly comfy.
the carpet needed a wash.

comfortable bed clean room dim lighting extractor fan
the room was clean (a pleasant surprise). the bed was comfortable for sleeping. i also found parking across the road very convenient.
the lighting in the room was a bit dim. i also noted that the extractor fan in the bathroom ran all night and i couldn't switch it off.

dirty stairs missing lamp
The stairs to the room looked quite worn. They were not clean. the noise from the pub persisted well after closing. It was difficult to sleep. also the promised bedside lamp was missing! though the owner did find one eventually. i found these issues rather annoying.

The room was clean and tidy.
I found no charging point for my mobile phone, quite inconvenient. There was also an additional charge for breakfast. I thought this. The hotel needs a bit of TLC.

The free parking was definitely a nice change. i found the staff very attentive. the room included a mini fridge. It was quite convenient. the hotel had original features with a modern twist adding to its charm.
the area leading to the sleeping area was a bit shabby.
